When I was five years old, my Mom asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said, "I want to be an actress."
TV Guide Nomination
Nominated,
Best Actor
in New Series.
Don't get the wrong idea, buddy, that's what they call people who act in France -- or somewhere over there in that Europe place.
Now I'm not gonna mention that I've appeared on "Sex and the City" or all three "Law & Order" series, and that in 2004 I show up as an actor on ABC, FOX and NBC. I don't want to brag. That's not my style. I also don't feel comfortable bringing up the fact I was cast member of "The Ellen Show" or I was co-lead of the critically acclaimed "Welcome to New York." And don't ask me to bring up the two dozen films I've appeared in, it's just not my style. Sorry.
As you can see I have many looks: Dumb white guy, evil white guy, dumb evil white guy, nerdy white guy, loveable loser white guy, nerdy loveable loser white guy and hot sexy white guy. (I'm aware the last one doesn't involve much acting.)
Jim on Letterman
Not just Letterman but many TV shows have featured Jim's stand-up.

Jim Ugly Makeup
Among the dumb evil white guys Jim has played, complete with blackened teeth, was this slimeball on "Law & Order SVU."

Welcome Portrait
Peek behind the scenes as CBS and TV Guide played with a lot of looks for the stars of "Welcome to New York" in photo sessions, driving Jim to extremes of cute and somber.
