FARMER FURY
At first the Vermont Lottery and its ad agency were strongly behind a trio of commercials in which Jim played a surly "misanthropic" farmer who ordered film crews off his land and otherwise amused the viewers. But then . . .
some genuine surly farmers -- 11 total -- complained that the TV commercials showed them in a negative light . . .
So the campaign was pulled. It survives in memory and now on the Internet. Go here for low-res version.

BUNNY OR BENNY?
Energizer was open to a comic variation on its Energizer Bunny, but test audiences apparently weren't ready for Jim's creation of "Energizer Benny." Are you?

I worked on plenty campaigns that for some reason were yanked or never aired. You see me as Energizer "Benny," a campaign that never aired cause test audiences thought I was out of my mind (very perceptive).
Angry Vermont farmers killed the "Angry Vermont Farmer" campaign for Vermont Lottery. Now I'm angry.
